City - National Reform Forum Holds MSME Workshop at Jakarta City Hall

The National Reform Forum supported by the Jakarta Provincial Government holds a Talkshow and Workshop on MSMEs Growing a Strong Economy and the Archipelago Ethnic Culinary Festival: Strengthening Economic Pillars through Branding Strategy on November 14-15, 2022, at the Jakarta City Hall.

Jakpreneur currently has approximately 338,000 members

It is expected to be effective in assisting MSMEs in Jakarta in introducing and selling products.

"We are from the Industry Trade Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises Agency (PPKUKM) welcome this activity, as it is one way to help MSMEs introduce their products and sell merchandise that has been their business all this time," said Jakarta PPKUKM Agency Head, Elisabeth Rante Allo, Tuesday (11/15 ).

She hoped that in the future, the National Renewal Forum could collaborate and synergize with Jakpreneur to advance MSMEs in Jakarta. The city is ready to provide support for the success of MSMEs in Jakarta.

According to her, there were around 40 MSMEs in the MSME Workshop activities at City Hall. Through the Jakpreneur Program, it provides various assistance programs for MSMEs, ranging from training, mentoring, and digitalization with the hope that MSMEs in Jakarta would advance to class and be able to keep up with the times.

"Jakpreneur currently has approximately 338,000 members," she stated.

One of participants, Halimah admitted on the first day, the profits were quite good. During the lunch break, 50 percent of the merchandise has been sold.

"Most of the buyers are civil servants and employees here (City Hall). If our merchandise sells until 4 PM, it will get quite a lot of profit," she admitted.
